This presents unique challenges for both interaction and design. To ensure the success of this design, three core concepts were employed: thumb-friendliness, gesture-based navigation, and distinctive branded elements.
Thumb-Friendly
Whether you're rushing to a meeting or carrying a bag in your other hand, we've strategically positioned all essential interactions within easy reach of your thumb.
Gestures
The app's foundational layout is built around modules that can be intuitively manipulated with simple gestures. Swipe up for more information, or swipe down to dismiss. The entire interface can be switched between light and dark mode depending on the user preferences.
Branded Details.
Let's face it—most EV charging apps are as dull in functionality as they are in appearance. To transform this experience, we've infused key elements of the Naturstrom brand, including its signature colors, rounded details, and vivid illustrations, crafting an interface that's not only functional but also enjoyable to use.
